I’m an enthusiastic and friendly orthodontist with over 5+ years of experience in helping people achieve their best smile. I obtained my degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Ajman University in 2017. My academic achievements include winning the best scientific research award and presenting research at the 6th International Students’ Dental Conference.
In 2023, I became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and Edinburgh, marking a pivotal year, where I specialized in orthodontics and gained the Membership in Orthodontics degree.
Dedicated to advancing my field, I’ve published 6 articles and engaged in workshops, notably in Clear Aligners and bone screws. Volunteering in Nepal (2017, 2018) and Sri Lanka (2021) allowed me to share dental knowledge with underserved communities.
Balancing studies with practical experience, I worked in private clinics, treating 500+ patients using clear aligners in my final year. This enhanced my patient management and communication skills while bolstering my confidence.
Reason for choosing Orthodontics?
Ever since I was an undergrad dental student, where I had my first exposure to the field of orthodontics, I was hooked! It was one of the best subjects to me, because it was all related to critical thinking and imagination. It is where I feel most comfortable in. I am so passionate about it and now I do not consider it as a career, because I really enjoy doing it. I always strive to become a better version of me in this field.
Digital dentistry? It is our era! Everything is shifting digital nowadays. We need to cope with that. I love utilizing some of the technologies available with my patients as it gives a more comfortable environment and easier for me to deliver the information to them.
